I have stumbled into this blog by a randomish sort of search on Annie Dillard. I can't believe it. I didn't know anyone else in Wright County besides my husband and myself read Annie Dillard or Anne Lamott or. . .
As I'm sifting through your blog entries, I'm finding so much I love: your clear writing, your emphasis on the beauty of the everyday, your close connection with your family (esp. your grandmother).

Thanks, Cindy! Yes, there's a few hidden hillbilly pseudo intellectual weirdos out there.:) Somehow those authors you mentioned find you instead of you finding them, though. It's a nudging thing.
I don't live in Wright county any more, though, but it's holler-echos remain and find a way out. Hope you're enjoying it.
